Welcome to Oxfordshire Voice

Supporting the opinions of the Oxfordshire Business Community

Oxfordshire Voice is a unique collaboration between public and private sector organisations in Oxfordshire who will work together to not only promote the positive aspects of Oxfordshire but also discuss solutions to help Oxfordshire continue its impressive history of growth. Oxfordshire is one of the most vibrant regions in the country, but growth comes at a cost with growing housing, transport, social and skills problems presenting very real challenges to continued economic prosperity.

Our 3 Key aims are as follows:

1. To build a collaborative business forum to inform and influence policies and decisions with a view to finding solutions to the key issues threatening the future economic performance and growth of Oxfordshire in five key areas:

Housing – commercial and residential
Workforce / Skills
Transport & Communication
Social & Environmental issues
Workplace Wellbeing

2. To promote Oxfordshire as an attractive location for investment

3. To be a forum for businesses to come together to share experiences and provide peer support for one another

A powerhouse region of which we are all proud

Oxford and Oxfordshire is now a powerhouse region of which we are all proud. A key part of that success has been the success of the business community, driven often by the collaborative culture which has been key to the success of our universities over almost a millennium. With Oxfordshire Voice, we have the opportunity to take that culture a further decisive step further, with the minds of the business community applied to Oxfordshire issues and its voice heard much more widely at every level.

A voice that can be heard

It’s vital that the business community in Oxfordshire has a voice that can be heard both within local government and further afield. Initiatives like this help local businesses, stimulate growth and ultimately  benefit the entire community. We’re very excited to be able to support this new B4 initiative.
